PRESENTATION
The rapidly growing health sector in our country needs to human resources have strong communication, organization and coordination skills, speaks foreign language, has knowledge and skills specific to health sector, medical documentation and computer knowledge.
The aim of the program is to provide qualified intermediate staff who have both business knowledge and hospital management knowledge to health sector.
The Health Institutions and Management Program prepares the executive candidates needed by the health institutions with both theoretical and practical training practices.
Our graduates find work mainly state and private hospitals and related laboratories, pharmacies, drug stores etc. in all health sectors.
PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM
The aim of the Health Institutions Management Program is to provide the people who will provide qualified work force have knowledge of hospital management and business management to health sector with theoretical and practical training applications.
Students who are eligible to study in the program and enrolled in the program are taught courses such as Medical Terminology, Medical Documentation, Business and Commercial Law, Hospital Management and Organization, and Professional Practice which are field courses as well as Business Administration, Accounting.
Thus, it is aimed to gain the knowledge required for the Health Management.
The program has been started to be taken since 2013-2014 academic year....
WHO CAN CHOOSE
According to the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) regulation, which is the new examination system of OSYM, students are required to take at least 150 points from the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT), which is a point type, of the YKS.
Students who choose our program with sufficient points and placed by ÖSYM are eligible to register to the Health Institutions Management Associate Degree Program.
WORKİNG PLACES
Graduates of Management of Health Institutions who graduate from this program with sufficient knowledge and skills; In the health sector, they can have a job in human resources, service management, accounting, revolving fund, marketing, health law, public relations, archives, quality management units and information processing units.
In addition, they can be employed health insurance units, private health insurance companies, companies engaged in education and research in health, in administrative units of health tourism companies.
