Reşadiye Vocational School commenced its educational activities in the 1995–1996 Academic Year with the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, operating in the Municipal Business Center building. Since its establishment, the Vocational School has demonstrated continuous growth and development. In the 2009–2010 Academic Year, it relocated to the building owned by the Reşadiye District Governorate Village Service Union, and since the 2019–2020 Academic Year, it has continued its educational activities in its own modern campus equipped with contemporary physical infrastructure.
With an enclosed area of approximately 7,500 square meters, the Vocational School offers a physical infrastructure designed to meet the requirements of contemporary higher education. In line with its educational philosophy, which emphasizes the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical application, the School effectively delivers practice-oriented training aimed at enhancing students' professional knowledge and skills. To support this approach, the School features two Computer Laboratories, one Elderly Care Practice Laboratory, one Physiotherapy Practice Laboratory, two lecture halls, seventeen classrooms, a conference hall, a reading room, a cafeteria, and a canteen. Furthermore, a 190-bed student dormitory operated by the Credit and Dormitories Institution (KYK) is available in the district, contributing to the accommodation needs of female students.
The Vocational School comprises seven academic departments: Computer Technologies; Management and Organization; Foreign Trade; Child Care and Youth Services; Health Care Services; Therapy and Rehabilitation; and Office Services and Secretarial Studies. These departments offer associate degree programs in Computer Programming, Call Center Services, Child Development, Foreign Trade, Physiotherapy, Health Institutions Management, Health Tourism Management, and Elderly Care. All programs admit students based on the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) score, which forms part of Türkiye's national higher education entrance examination system. With an enrollment of approximately 800 students, the Vocational School employs 21 highly qualified academic staff members, providing a practice-oriented, high-quality education designed to meet the evolving needs of relevant industries and professional sectors.
Committed to quality assurance and continuous improvement, Reşadiye Vocational School conducts its educational activities in accordance with nationally recognized quality standards. In this context, the Elderly Care Program was awarded conditional accreditation for a period of two years following the evaluation process conducted by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Vocational Education (MEDEK) in 2025. This accreditation demonstrates that the program's educational quality, learning outcomes, and professional competencies have been independently evaluated and found to comply with established quality standards. This achievement represents a significant indicator of the School's commitment to academic excellence and quality-oriented educational practices. Students enrolled in the accredited Elderly Care Program benefit from educational processes implemented in accordance with national quality standards and acquire the knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required for their future careers. In addition, preparations for the accreditation of the School's other academic programs are being carried out in a planned and systematic manner, with the objective of extending a strong quality assurance culture across all programs.
